The Head of Abia State’s Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, Dr. Oluebube Chukwu, has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to educational development at all levels, charging students to strive for excellence and resilience in their academic journey.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony of Ihechukwu Madubuike Institute of Technology (IMIT) in Amuda Isuochi, Umunneochi LGA, Dr. Chukwu urged students to be visionary and dedicated.

“Be the best you can be at all times. Have a vision that will propel you toward the destiny you desire,” he told the graduating class, commending their determination and hard work.
In a separate visit to Methodist Model Nursery and Primary School, Isuochi, Dr. Chukwu praised both pupils and teachers for their commitment, describing foundational education as a critical pillar for sustainable development.
He highlighted Governor Alex Otti’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the education sector through programs like Abia Tech Rise, the Abia Leadership Academy, and other youth-focused initiatives aimed at fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and capacity building.
The Rector, IMIT, Dr. Benjamin Ezeali, applauded Dr. Chukwu’s leadership and integrity, calling his appointment a testament to Governor Otti’s commitment to quality governance.
Similarly, the Headmistress, Methodist Model School, Mrs. Nneoma Adanma expressed appreciation for Dr. Chukwu’s continued support for basic education.
The events were punctuated by cultural performances, student debates, and recitations, reinforcing a shared resolve to harness education as a driver of community transformation. At both events, Dr. Chukwu was accompanied by the programme manager of The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation, Mrs. Helen Mannic.
